MOVIES
My favorite sitcom of all time. This is my goto series if I am
in need of a mood uplift or just a background sound when I am
working. I have seen it more than 40 times.
My favorite thing about The Office is the mockumentary style
of filming. It is so cool when the characters talk meta and
comment on their own stories.
This show appeals to the nerd in me with all the science stuff
thrown over the comedic banter between the characters. Its
also interesting to see how a neuro-divergent person, like
Sheldon, relates to others.
ARCHITECTURE
This is one of my favorite buildings. It is St. Nicholas Greek
Orthodox Church in New York designed by Santiago Calatrava. It
is simply exquisite.
Baroque and Georgian styles of architecture capture my eye. I
think they are really beautiful and elegant.
NATURE
I like wide open spaces, clouds, waterfalls and fields. When
the world is that big, nothing could be so terribly bad.
I really like wildlife shows and documentaries on nature. I
have always found biology an interesting subject. Talking
about dragonflies, sitting in a meadow overlooking a lake
would be such an ideal way to spend an afternoon with a
friend.
BOOKS
Agatha Christie is my favorite English author. I loved the
mystery genre before I found out about her but I was hooked to
murder mysteries after reading
A Witnesss for the Prosecution. The Murder of Roger
Ackroyd is my favorire book of hers.
An American tycoon lies dead in his compartment in the Orient
Express, stabbed a dozen times, his door locked from the
inside. Isolated and with a killer in their midst, detective
Hercule Poirot must identify the murderer.
This is such a clever story related to a nursery rhyme!
Beautiful Caroline Crale was convicted of poisoning her
husband, yet there were five other suspects. It is sixteen
years later, but Hercule Poirot just can’t get that nursery
rhyme out of his mind.
